Pam and I met at John Muir Elementary school in Madison in the fifth grade. We quickly became friends and she has remained my very best friend since.
Pam was the kindest and most thoughtful and generous person I know. She was a beautiful soul who selflessly and continuously took care of others and I will miss her dearly.
My love and prayers go out to Marcus, her entire family and all who feel the pain of her passing.
I will cherish and remember my time with Pam until the day I die. She is forever in my heart.
I love you Pamela Ann!!!

I have many memories of Pam growing up as a friend of my little sister Debbie. Now as an adult I have had the pleasure of getting to know her better as the two of them let me tag-a-long on their trips shopping and dining out. Pam always made these trips more fun with her calm gentle spirit and quiet sense of humor. She was an amazing friend to Debbie and a joy to be around. I truly cannot believe that she is gone. I will miss her and know that the world has lost a remarkably kind, gentle and generous soul.
With deepest sympathy,

I knew Pam from being my moms best friend. She would always be with us when we went shopping and out to eat. I remember all the fun things we would do with Pam and Marcus growing up. We always would joke about the time Marcus and I were stuck on an elephant at the circus. We actually joked about that the last time we were together. She was so generous and would do anything and everything for anyone. She wasn't just my moms friend, but mine too. I will truly miss Pam.

Dear Julie,
I was so shocked to learn of the loss of your sister Pam. I didn't know Pam, but you often spoke of your visits with her and I know how much they meant to you. Understanding the loss of a loved one is so hard, especially when they're as young as Pam. She will always be with you in your heart and mind. Every day you will think of her and remember the love you had for each other and how that love has enriched your life. My heart goes out to you and your family.
With deepest sympathy,
Sharon Vande Hei

John, I would like to extend my sincere condolences to you and your family on the loss of your dear daughter. While I never had the opportunity to meet Pam, I remember from the years of our working together at DCDHS what a loving, devoted, father you are. Please know that I am keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
