My sympathy to Beverly's family. We were neighbors on Acewood Blvd. She was a very kind lady. She threw a wonderful party for us when we moved away from Acewood. Sincerely, Marlayne Testolin

Aunt Bev, we just can't say how much you'll be missed. Some of our best, early memories as a family happened at your restaurant for breakfast. The big kids fondly recall the treats you would give them after they finished eating, and the special trips to "the back" like we were part of the crew, and talked to Harv while he peeled that endless pile of potatoes! You always so thoughtfully made baby gifts when we had a new arrival. And recently we remember "Bev's Bash", and how we looked forward to that. You were one of the rocks of the Connery Family foundation, and we pray you're now with all those you loved who left before you. Our hearts and love go out to your family that has to wait here until they get to see you again. ~Brad Connery and Family

So sad to read of Bev's passing. For several years I had breakfast at Bev's Diner on E. Washington St.
She had a great salt and pepper collection and always made all her customers feel special. She knew I liked blueberry pancakes and would always pile them high.
They "don't make them like her anymore"!
My deepest sympathy in your loss, she was a memorable, wonderful woman.
