Todd W Daly

MIDDLETON-Todd W. Daly, age 46, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the UW-Hospital in Madison. He was born on July 9, 1968, in Madison, the son of John and Marcia (Zurfluh) Daly. Todd graduated from Craig High School in Janesville in 1986 and furthered his education by taking machining classes at MATC. He worked at Devon’s Chocolates in Sun Prairie as a machine operator, where he took great pride and interest in the chocolate making process. Todd had a variety of interests including watching the Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badger games , science fiction movies, and the outdoors but truly treasured most the time he spent with his family. Family was important to Todd and showed through his good values and ability to always help others whenever possible. Todd was a very giving person and gave his final gift to many through organ donation. He didn’t want to be out front but quietly in the background. Todd loved his small family, his brother Dave lives in Texas and Todd moved two different times to Dallas to be near him, but his love for his mother brought him back to Wisconsin. Todd is survived by his mother, Marcia; his brother Dave Daly (Debra Yonley); Aunt, Joanne Olson and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, John; maternal and fraternal grandparents and cousin, Greg Olson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave., Middleton at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding. Private burial will be at St. Bernard’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. Todd will be dearly missed by his family and all those whom he touched.
