VERONA-Brian G. Bennett, age 47, passed away at his home peacefully in his sleep of natural causes on Thursday, December 4, 2014. He was born on January 25, 1967, in Portage, the son of Bernard and Barbara (Cary) Bennett. Brian graduated from Wisconsin Dells High School where he made many lifelong friends. He met the love of his life Cindy Weber in 1990 and they were united in marriage in 2003. Brian had a successful career in Sales and Management with Zimbrick Acura of Middleton. He was an avid sports fan, hunter, fisherman, golfer and a self-proclaimed Trivial Pursuit champion, who shared his attributes and hobbies with all his friends and family whom he dearly loved. Brian touched the lives of all he met and never forgot one of them. In addition to his loving wife Cindy Bennett, Brian is survived by his parents, Bernard and Barbara Bennett, Sr., Wisconsin Dells; two brothers, Bernard Bennett, Jr., Madison, Bradley (Sara) Bennett, Fitchburg; sisters-in-law, Cheryl (Terry) Kramer, McFarland, Jackie Weber, Madison, Michele (David) Schultz, Rochester, MN., Tammy Weber, Madison; nieces and nephews, Sarah (Jason) Brooks, Eagle River, AK., Nathanial West, Dallas, TX., Ashley West, Minneapolis, MN., Bailey Bennett and Nathan Bennett both of Fitchburg and his loving dogs, Sophie and Gracie, as well as an abundance of friends too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; a brother, Bruce Bennett and a nephew Nicholas Bradley. A Celebration of Life will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7450 University Ave., Middleton on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 4 PM until 8 PM, where a time for sharing will begin at 7 PM. Family and friends may wish to bring a written memory to share and give to the family as an everlasting memory. Memorials may be made in Brian’s name to a local humane society in memory of his sweet dog Allie whom they lost this past summer. He will be loved and missed by everyone whose lives he touched.

Brian was my biggest hero growing up. He never let me quit the game, or be left out of the fun. I will always look up to him for that. He holds a special place in my heart, and it is shared with many that knew him. I pray for God's strength and grace to your family for your loss.

I am so sadden to hear of the passing of Brian. Your first high school love you never forget. Brian was a great example of this. He was kind, caring and thoughtful. He taught me how to have "fun"! I am so greatful that we rekindled our friendship 10 years ago. I am a better person from knowing him. I will miss our conversations, and his words of wisdom. :) I hope he has found peace.
