Julson, June L. (Woods) MADISON–June L. (Woods) Julson, age 88, of Madison, passed away on Dec. 29, 2014, in Madison. She was born on June 22, 1926, in Browns Hill, Pa., the daughter of Harvey and Edna (Pollitt) Woods. She married Gerald Julson on Jan. 12, 1946, in West Mifflin, Pa. June and Gerald moved to Wisconsin and farmed near Mt. Vernon for several years before moving to Madison, where she worked for Kipp Manufacturing. Later, June worked at Golden Rooster, Conrad’s in McFarland, Yee’s, Cathay House and The Comic Strip. June enjoyed waitressing and bartending, where she made many friends. She was a long time member of Lake Edge Lutheran Church. June is survived by her children, Gerald (Kathryn) Julson, and Jean (Bill) Vetter; grandchildren, Phillip (Rebecca) Julson, Sara (Travis) Dalton, and Ryan (Amy) Julson; great-grandchildren, Caden and Abigail Dalton, and Isaac, Wyatt and Cora Julson; and siblings, William Woods, Darlene Johnson, and Edna Woods. She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Gerald; twin sister, Dorothy; sister, Jacqueline; and brother, Harvey Jr. Private services will be held.
