Beaverson, Dwight "Bud" E. WINDSOR–Dwight "Bud" E. Beaverson, age 83, of Windsor, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at Agrace HospiceCare. Bud was born on Sept. 17, 1931, in Marshallville, Ohio, to Albert and Gladys (Hartzler) Beaverson. Bud served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He married Rosemary Schmidt in 1953 and together they raised seven children. For 39 years, Bud worked for the Department of Transportation, Division of Motor Vehicles, retiring in 1995. In 1990 he married Jane Rouleau. Bud loved to travel with Jane, and together they visited all 50 states, most of the Canadian provinces and several European and Central American countries. Bud's lively sense of humor stayed with him, and he entertained family and friends with his great stories. Above everything though, he loved his family and spent plenty of time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bud is survived by his wife, Jane; children, Ann (Dean) Whitney, Sandy (Jim) Mosher, Bob (Georgia) Beaverson, Pat (John) Rodell, Sharon Roughen, Ron (Sally Jo) Beaverson and Steve (Grace Lee) Beaverson; step-children, Julie (Scott) Forcier, Ellen (Tim) Reel and Peter (Kerry) Bond; grandchildren Nathan (Anne) Whitney, Travis (Kristen) Whitney, Kristina Stadler, Josh Mosher, Rachel Mosher, Michael Beaverson, Laura Beaverson, Erin Rodell, Sarah Rodell, Shane (Beth) Caso, Jessica Caso, Chad Caso, Colin Caso, Andrew Beaverson, Tony Beaverson, Sarah Beaverson, Carissa Beaverson, Amanda Beaverson, Megan Robson, Noah Forcier and Maya Forcier; great-grandchildren, Benett, Rosalie, Elise, Carsen, Danielle, Hailey, Willow, Nathan, Callie, Caleb, Syenna, Malechi and Evin; brothers, Wayne Beaverson and Bill (Barb) Beaverson; sisters, Joan (Dick) Matheny and Mary Lou Preston; sister-in-law, Audrey Beaverson. Bud was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth; and sister, Virginia Lepp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Rd., Madison, at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, with Fr. Randy Timmerman presiding. Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014. The family extends deep gratitude to the kind and gentle staff members at Stoughton Hospital's geriatric-psychiatric ward and Agrace HospiceCare. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Catholic Charities Adult Day Center, Agrace HospiceCare or the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s and Dementia Alliance.
