It was my pleasure to know Sig Gulvik, a loving husband and father to his family, and a friend to all who knew him. Sig was a success as defined by Mrs. Bessie A. Stanley Of Lincoln, Kansas, published December 11, 1905..................................................................................................................................... SUCCESS....................
“He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much; who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of little children; who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; who has left the world better than he found it, whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem, or a rescued soul; who has never lacked appreciation of earth’s beauty or failed to express it; who has always looked for the best in others and given the best he had; whose life was an inspiration; whose memory a benediction.”
Thank You, Sig, for all you contributed .................... Madison has lost a good man.

To Shirley and family, we send our sympathy in the loss of Sig! He was always fun to be around and sure remember him talking sports and fishing and teasing me (being a younger cousin). We wish for peace in your journey without him and pray that friends will comfort you and memories will heal your hearts.
