TO PAT'S FAMILY. MY CONDOLENCE TO YOU ALL . I WORKED WITH PAT FOR OVER 30 YEARS AS A STATE TROOPER. I WAS ALSO WITH HIM IN THE AIR GUARD FROM '65 TO '71. FOR A TIME WE WERE IN THE SAME WSP TROOP TOGETHER . AT SOME OF OUR TROOP PICNICS I RECALL PAT PLAYING THE GUITAR ALONG WITH SKIP SCHWARTZ ON HIS ACCORDIAN. THOSE WERE SOME GOOD TIMES. I T WAS GOOD TO SEE AND TALK TO HIM AT SOME OF OUR RETIREE BREAKFASTS WHEN HE COULD MAKE THEM. WE WILL MISS HIM. MICHAEL AND JUDY JENNINGS

Pat was my Coach in 1969 while experiencing my first three weeks of OJT with a seasoned Trooper. I'll never forget his 3 speed shifting skills. A long term comradre, teacher, and forever held in esteem. I thank you for your life instilling lessons that kept me safe then and now. My heartfelt condolences to his Family, God Speed Trooper Pat Byrne.

Dear Lisa, Matthew and Family. We wish it was possible to be there as you mourn the loss of your father. I think about the Sundays we spent together as children. Memories of those family times are very special to me. Distance has limited the number of times we have seen each other over the last half century. I am sorry we did not get to see each other more often. Bob and Jean Michaelis, Hanlontown Iowa

Dear Lisa and Matthew, We are sad to learn of the death of your Dad. Losing a parent is such a hard thing and I wish you the comfort of family and friends around you. Lisa, I recall some 'witty' comments that your Dad made when we were in college. He was quite a character! He will live in your heart forever. You have our deepest sympathy. Amie and Gregg
