Maginnis, Richard “Mac”
ARLINGTON/SAN DIEGO-Richard “Mac” Maginnis, age 66, of Arlington, passed away on Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, in Watertown. He was born on May 5, 1948, in Arlington, the son of Gordon and Irene (Neesam) Maginnis. Mac retired after 20 years of service in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed muscle cars, music and traveling. Mac was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial gathering will be held at HAMRE GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 157 S. Main St., Lodi, from 10 a.m. until noon, on Friday, Nov. 14, 2014. Burial will be held at ARLINGTON EVANGELICAL CEMETERY in Arlington, at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

My sympathy to the family of Richard. He was in my Poynette high school class of 1966. I was not a close friend and like so many others, I lost touch after graduation. I do remember he was a handsome guy with a mysterious smile and a cool car.
