Royce enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving his country from 1949 to 1950. He enjoyed softball, coaching and camping. Your families have our very sincere sympathies. Uncle Royce was such a great man and always had jokes and laughs to share. He always had a great smile and kind words. He will be missed. I'm sorry we will not be able to attend his celebration of life as we are headed north to be with my dad for Thanksgiving. I will certainly share this loss with him. Linda Knox and Rick Pfanku

I miss you so much but I know you are in a better place now and happy again to be with mom. I've told you many times that you have been the only father I have know and I' m grateful to have had you in my life. Take care of mom until we meet again.
Thanks for being you!

To everyone in Uncle Royce's family, Judy and I want to express our deepest sympathy. He was a great man, loved by everyone, my dad in particular. When I was young, he and dad were the persons I looked up to the most and, like all the Rogers' "clan", they had a dry sense of humor I never tired of. I'm sure a bit of it will show up at Uncle Royce's memorial and I know he wouldn't want it any other way. Unfortunately, Judy and I won't be able to attend, but our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Uncle Royce will really be missed. Gary and Judy Rogers in St. Augustine, Florida

Sorry to hear of he loss of your father. We met him in the New Glarus home when my mother, Lil Sandlin was there. He was a very interesting man to talk with as he was full of stories. He always had a smile for us and my mother liked the way he joked around with everyone. I know they enjoyed there wheelchair races up and down the hallway. He will be missed by all who knew him. Our prayers go out to the family. I'm sorry we couldn't make it to his celebration of life.
