Dear JoAnne and Family, I'm sorry I can't make it to Elza's service on Thursday. I've had a trip out of town planned for some time and can't cancel. Vera has said she has a craving for chicken and dumplings that Three Sisters serves on Tuesdays. Let's plan on going some Tuesday. We could even go on Elza's birthday! I'm sure he would agree to lunch with three beautiful women. I'll be in touch. I can do the calling for the Community Meal again for December if you'd like.
