As a classmate of Butch, graduating from Middleton high school in 1962, I have fond memories of him as a good and serious student as well as a good athlete. We got to know each other better in Al Demin's detention class during 7th hour. Jim Endres

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Butch. I worked for the State of Wisconsin, Plumbing Program for close to 40 years and had many, many calls and meetings with Butch over the years. I knew that when he called or stopped in the office it was going to be a tough question to solve. He was always professional and we always seemed to have a laugh during the discussion. I have so many great memories of working with him. He was one of the hardest working individuals I knew. The plumbing industry lost a great ally and we all lost a very good friend. Butch, we will miss you. Jim Miller Retired Section Chief State of Wisconsin, Plumbing Program

All of us at TDS Custom Construction will dearly miss Butch. For 15 years or more he has been an absolute essential part of nearly every construction project we've done. He was so thorough, thoughtful, kind, knowledgeable and consistent that his expert presence on our job sites will be very difficult to replace. Our gratitude for his loyal service and friendship is infinite and will never be forgotten. Please extend our deepest condolences to everyone who knows him.
