Joyce Lorine Gaither

Gaither, Joyce B. STOUGHTON-Joyce B. Gaither, age 78, of Stoughton, passed away at home on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 4, 1936, in Chillicothe, Ill., the daughter of John and Irene (Rose) Belsley. She married H. Keith Gaither Jr. on March 17, 1955, in Jasper, Ark. Joyce was a loving mother and housewife and worked part-time for Asleson’s True Value Hardware in Stoughton for eight years in the early 2000’s. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and spending time with family and her cat Muffit. Joyce is survived by three children, Jennifer L. McCaulley of Louisville, Ky., Jeffrey (Tina) Gaither of Stoughton and Harvey (Karen) Gaither, III of Manteno, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
