Betsy was a kind, caring, wonderful, and funny lady. I always remember the times spent together from the laughs at lunch, the farmer's market, Culvers, "Nanook of the North", and the countless times we laughed until our bodies ached. I know Betsy is reading this in Heaven and sharing the memories. My thoughts are with the family at this time.

To a wonderful teacher and beautiful person, you are truly missed. You were a wonderful teacher to all three of my children and I feel blessed we had that link and I truly enjoyed helping in your classroom. I also enjoyed being a chaperone on all the field trips, especially the ones at your home. You gave me the title of "Field Trip Queen". I love all the great memories I have of you. God bless you in heaven our dear angel Betsy. I'm sure you know how great a person your mom was Annie. You will be in my prayers.

During our Northside School years together, Betsy was a dear friend and an amazing, compassionate and loving teacher to all of her kids! She was always so tolerant, patient and understanding of my special needs students as well...I always wanted them to be mainstreamed into her homeroom and classes! The children all loved her! We had such great times both in and out of school, and laughed together constantly! I'll never forget the complete joy she had in finally bringing her own beautiful child, Annie, into the world! Annie was her dearest treasure, and we loved hearing her Annie stories! Betsy was a bright light and a blessing to all who knew her...She will be sorely missed. My heart, thoughts and prayers to Annie and the rest of her family for strength during this difficult time. Love you Bets!

So sad for everyone who knew Betsy. Such a gentle, kind soul. Her heart was so giving, she really did put everyone before herself. Nothing made her happier than being a Mom. Annie, our hearts break for you but know you will draw strength from knowing what an amazing Mom you had.
