A special favorite were his trips with family and friends from coast to coast in his RV. He also enjoyed going to BMW motorcycle rallies, yearly trips to Jamaica, time at his cottage, working on old cars, and puttering around. Steve is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen (Callahan) Schlough; daughter, Christie (John) Miller of Madison; his son, Paul (Ginger) Schlough of Denver, CO.; granddaughters, Heidi and Tatum Miller of Madison and brothers, Stuart (Sandy) Schlough and Charles (Michele) Schlough. STEVE
Although I had not seen Steve for many years I have fond memories of him from our
days together in Diocesan Choir. Steve was one of the most gentle and caring men in the
choir. He would frequently come up to me before rehearsal or during break and ask
me how I was doing. This never seemed superficial but always seemed to show true
concern.
May the Lord bless and keep Steve and his family close to his heart.
My thoughts and prayers are with you!

On behalf of the Diocesan Choir, I would like to offer our prayers and sympathy. Steve had a beautiful baritone voice, but his personality was even more beautiful. He always was quick with a joke and he had a twinkle in his eye when he smiled. We are grateful to Steve and the other founding members of the choir for all they did to establish the Diocesan Choir. May he rest in peace.
