Obituary

Hinrichs, Shirley McFARLAND-Shirley Hinrichs, age 82, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014. She was born on July 4, 1932, in Belleville, Ill., the daughter of Ferd and Helen (Kniep Kamp) Glueck. Shirley was united in marriage to Herman Hinrichs on April 4, 1953. She was a member of Good Shepherd by the Lake Lutheran Church, the Mary Martha Circle, Small Groups Bible Study and a volunteer at House of Thrift. Shirley enjoyed her trips to Door County, playing cards, but especially spending holidays with family. She is survived by her, husband; children, David (Marian), Debra (Paul) and Robert (Lisa); grandchildren, Christopher (Sally) and Timothy Hinrichs, Katie and Kyle Nachreiner, Kasey and Katie Lovicott; and great-grandchildren, Hailie, Abby, McKenzie, Christinia and Roman. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mark; and her brother, Robert Glueck. Funeral services will be held at GOOD SHEPHERD BY THE LAKE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1860 U.S. Highway 51, Stoughton, at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, with the Rev. Todd McVey presiding. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park, with a luncheon to follow at the church. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
