Diane A Mockrud

MADISON-Diane A. Mockrud, age 66, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014. She was born on July 13, 1948, the daughter of Harold and Eileen (Klade) Peoples. Diane was united in marriage to William Stull on March 3, 1979. Diane worked for the University of Wisconsin for over 40 years and enjoyed the people she worked with. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and spending time with her animals. Diane is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Stull; daughter, Vicki Frisch, and twin daughters, Joan Mockrud and Jean Widener; six grandchildren; Lindsey, Lacey, Tyler, Casey, Alex, J.J., nine great-grandchildren; and siblings, Frank (Kathy) Weitzel, Cheryl (Bud) Marling, Robert (Annette) Klade, James (Darcy) Guethlein and Claude (Cara) Peoples. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Verna Klade; and sister, Nancy Smiley. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014 with Fr. Randy Timmerman presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014, and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
