As Parish Nurse at St. William Church in Waukesha, I visited Allen the last few years at home and in health care facilities. I always enjoyed our visits and hearing stories of his life in Prairie du Chien and "beyond". He was a very thoughtful, loyal man and always seemed willing to help those in need. I learned a lot from talking to Allen and appreciate that I was able to get to know him just a little bit!
Sincerely,

I've never met a man with more wry and wit than my grandfather. I've never met a man with as much of a profound sense of integrity as my grandfather. Other than my father, I've never met a man I so truly looked up too and wanted to be that person. He was a rock. If you knew our family you would also know Grandma was the roll! I miss you both so very much!! I'm so proud to carry your name.
