Obituary
Harewood, Susanna Louise
MADISON/TREVOR/LAREDO, TEXAS-Susanna Louise Harewood, age 19, left this world for Heaven, dying of natural causes, peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014. She was born on Dec. 7, 1994, in Laredo, Texas. Susie was known for her artistic abilities and had a unique ability to see colors in everything. Everyone would agree that she embraced her uniqueness, using it to her best advantage to see a realm of colors and variety some of us could never detect. Susie knew how to make people laugh and had an extremely quick sense of wit. Traveling was one of her passions. She loved Harry Potter, the rain, Benedict Cumberbatch, Dr. Who, romance, Ireland, Scotland, Ed Sheeran and Sherlock. Susie was a sophmore at UW and a student leader of Chi Alpha and anticipated enrolling at University of Washington at Seattle in the fall. She is survived by her parents, Patrick and Joy Harewood; sisters, Kalyn Jainée and Rachel Annette Harewood; grandparents, Robert and Harlene Dargan of Paxton, Ill., and Robert and Karen Fulling of Rantoul, Ill.; aunt, Ruth Grey; uncle Steve and aunt Amy Parker; and cousins, Ashley, Victoria and Robbie Dargan and Alexandra and Joshua of Denver. Susie was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Liliáne Harewood; brothers, Benjamin and Aaron Harewood; friend, Johnny Herndon; and grandmother (and namesake) Louise Harewood of Barbados. Funeral services will be held at FAITH COMMUNITY BIBLE CHURCH, 3 N. Park St., Madison, at 7 p.m., on Monday, Oct. 6, 2014. Visitation will be held at the church from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday. The burial will be held at GREENMOUNT CEMETERY, 1701 S. 12th St., Quincy, Ill., at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014. Susie did not belong to this world and it was evident. She loved God, but was frustrated that she couldn’t see or hear him. She wanted to know him for real. She was loyal to a fault, and seemed to think her side was your side also. She was not afraid to stand up for her beliefs. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chi Alpha- UW Madison, 921 Amnicon Trail, Madison, WI 53718. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

Susie,
Your heart for truth will not be forgotten. You sought after your Lord with all your heart . You saw life through the eyes of faith. Your legacy of your art and pursuit for excellence is what you have left behind. I remember our tender conversation about knowing Jesus and letting him guide you through the next steps in life. We talked about owning your beauty and value. Oh, there is so many riches of who you are and how you manifested what you were created to be. Uncle Stephen loved helping you learn philosophy as you wrote your art paper.
In your childhood I watched you run on the beach in Barbados and saw your free spirit early. Your cousins Alexandra and Joshua will always appreciate your invitation to reach out and play. Alexandra's birthday card with her portrait drawn with perfection and shadows will always be treasured by her.
Rest in the arms of Jesus.
Uncle Stephen, Aunt Amy, Cousins Alexandra and Joshua.
