Elizabeth Louise Maier

CROSS PLAINS-Elizabeth Louise Maier, age 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Rest Haven, her home for the past nine years. Elizabeth was born on July 30, 1922 in Martinsville, the daughter of John and Rose Maier. She is survived by three brothers, Joseph, Edwin (Louise) and John; two sisters-in-law, Geraldine and Joan Maier. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her sisters, Marion (Louis) Block, Rose (Val) Ballweg and brothers, Norbert, Harold, Elmer and Jerome. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2947 Thinnes ST., Cross Plains at 11 AM on Sat., Sept.6, 2014 with Father Thomas Kelley presiding. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow at St. Martin’s Cemetery, Martinsville.
