Dad, I just wanted to let you know that I have been thinking about you. Its been difficult these last couple of weeks without you here in our home. I'm sure your up in heaven visiting with all of our other relatives looking down upon us here. I think about all the good times we had and the not so good times. I really miss you. Your were not just my dad, but you were also my friend. I love you and miss you very much..

I miss you every day grandpa. I miss the talks we had and the cribbage games that you let me win. I believed that you let me win the last time because you knew that that was the last time you were ever going to play with me. How the holidays will never be the same without you and that I will always keep on celebrating my birthday with yours. I love you and miss you so much.
