I was so disheartened to hear of Gary's passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers as you struggle with another loss. Gary was always the "older cousin" that was so welcoming when ever our families got together. I especially remember him always having a poinsettia for Mom when we visited Aunt Delores for Christmas Eve. And his laugh. He had a great laugh! Many blessings as you mourn your Dad, husband and brother. Nancy (Tupper) Fecteau "one of the younger cousins"

Garys Family, I am deeply saddened to hear of Garys passing. I have been friends with Gary for over 50 years. Gary and I hanged out a lot as teenagers and were always good friends beyond that. Sincerely, Gary Morton

That is an absolutely fine picture of Gary. In spite of all the years that have passed it is so noticeably him and so perfectly captive of the happy and friendly school chum I remember. I have not seen or spoken to Gary since the summer of 1976 when he was meat cutting at a shop out on Monona Drive. He was very excited to show me some of the tools and techniques of the trade and I was pleased to learn them, no less than happy he had found a career. Prior to that, I suppose I had not seen Gary much since the days at Gompers Junior High, but many good memories are indelible from then. Some of my thoughts are of Gary in class, sport and school dances, but most are of the guys just hanging around -- smoking and playing cards -- in the days so shortly before adulthood and family made real men of us. As I read the tribute, and the names of the family so close who loved him -- it brings tears to my eyes, but joy in knowing that he was connected to them, bonded in their love and their memory. God bless you Gary, brother, I'll carry good memories of you to the end of my days -- and I'll sign off for some of the guys who I am sure will also do likewise: Chris Kox for Jay Snell, Dennis Strand and Randy Eyers.
