Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. To our special Mom and Nana, you always had a special smile on your face that brought great joy to all of us. You shared your strong values in the words of “Please” and “Thank You,” and taught us to be respectful of others and ourselves. You have followed in God’s path which has inspired us to follow in his footsteps. You never forgot our special days and we will never forget you. “Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones shines down to let us know they are happy.” The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Meriter Hospital ER and ICU staff and also Chaplain Susan for the special care and support. I would like to share the memory that most of the family will already know, but I share this with the hopes of bringing a smile.
When I was 5 years old my safe haven was always Nana’s house, where the perfect toast with peanut butter was made with smiles and love by my Nana and my aunts (Gwen and Cheryl). I don’t really remember the details but I was at a friend’s birthday party and when the party ended no one was there to pick me up (mind you I just lived up the road within walking distance) so I decided to hitch hike to my Nana’s house. I remember getting to a busy road (beltway as aunt Gwen calls it) and a man stops his car to ask if he can give me a ride, I tell him I cant ride with strangers and he has his daughter get out of the car to assure me I would be safe. I successfully navigate our way to Nana’s house where as usual I am greeted with hugs and love, the way I will always remember being greeted by Nana.
I will miss you Nana, but I smile knowing you are with our loved ones in heaven.

Mom Woolever was always the center of our lives.
She was tireless in her love for all of us. Nothing was too much work. Always so giving and caring with everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

I'm not a member of y'alls family, but from what I can see in the pictures and such, she was an amazing woman, and she will be missed greatly. I was looking for something else, but my finger slipped, and I think God had me click here for a reason, so even though it has been almost 7 years already, my sympathy goes to your family.
