Obituary

Gorsuch, William Edward “Billy” BEAVER DAM-William Edward “Billy” Gorsuch, age 63, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Aug. 15, 2014, in Madison. He was born on Dec. 27, 1950, in Madison, the son of Merwy Gorsuch and Alice June McNulty. Bill attended school at Van Hise in Madison. He worked thoughout the years as a carpenter in the Beaver Dam area, most recently with his son, Ben. Bill had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them, but his greatest joys were his children and grandchildren. Bill is survived by his daughter, LeeAnn (Joel) Crye; son, Ben Gorsuch; grandchildren, Cali and Bayli Gorsuch and Elizabeth and Parker Crye; sisters, Nancy Levi and Lynn Sterr; brothers, Bob (Ginger) Gorsuch, Denny (Ann Dierbeck) Gorsuch, and Tom (Sharon) Gorsuch; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Merwyn Gorsuch; mother, Alice June Maloney; and son, Joseph Gorsuch. Burial will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL, 401 Femrite Drive, Monona, at 11 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 22, 2014. Following the burial, there will be a Celebration of Bill’s Life at MORRY’S BAR, 430 Madison St., Beaver Dam, from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
