Eugene Owen DeYoung

Although my wife Missi & I only got to know Gene for a relatively short period of time in his 88 years through Sunday worship at St. Dennis over the last few years, he had a profound affect on us and will remain in our hearts forever. As he would say when he would see us after missing a week of worship, "You have been missed". Gene, you WILL be missed dearly!! I know you're celebrating and enjoying the glories of heaven now, with no more struggles to overcome in this earthly existence. Gene was a kind and caring soul who helped my wife Missi look at her struggle when being diagnosed with RA in a new way. Gene would often say when he was struggling that "I have this xxxx struggle, so someone else doesn't have to". That has been something that Missi and I often remind ourselves of in times of struggle, and has always been a source of comfort to us. You will be missed - Love Paul and Missi!!

De Young family and friends, Sorry to hear about the loss of your dear beloved one "Eugene", in times like these I find it comforting to read this scripture from God's word the holy Bible........."Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out." John 5:28,29
