LARSON, MARY ELIZABETH MADISON-Mary Elizabeth Larson (Farr, Ruegsegger), age 90, passed away on July 13, 2014, at the Waunakee Manor. She was born on December 28, 1923 in Oregon, WI, the daughter of Leslie Farr and Velma Campbell. She married Arnold P. Larson on August 3, 1974 in Madison, WI and he preceded her in death December 2005. She married Ernest Ruegsegger, December 29, 1939 in Dubuque, IA and he preceded her in death May 1963. Mary enjoyed gardening, reading and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked for the UW Hospital for over 25 years. Mary is survived by her children, Ernest Ruegsegger, Ray Ruegsegger, Rose Ruegsegger, David Ruegsegger, Daniel Ruegsegger, Debbie Karls, Gary Ruegsegger, Jeff Ruegsegger, Terry Larson and Michelle Larson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her children, Shirley Ruegsegger, Larry Ruegsegger, Pam Wipperfurth and grandchildren Jamie Ruegsegger and Cheryl Arnett. Funeral Services will be held at GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5701 Raymond Rd, Madison at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 18, 2014. Burial will be at Dane Immanuel Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the HAMRE GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 157 S. Main Street, Lodi on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 4:30 PM until 7:30 PM. Visitation will also be held from, 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the Church. Donations will go towards dementia research. Love you Grandma, thanks for your love and affection throughout the years. You always told us you loved us, and was big on giving hugs and kisses. You never missed a school play, or any kind of a game we had. I will miss seeing you everyday.
