George H. Weber

Weber, George MADISON-George Weber, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital. George was born on Aug. 7, 1929, in Madison, the son of Robert and Marie (Deitelhoff) Weber. He graduated from Central High School 66 years ago. He married Mary Smith on Sept. 26, 1953. She preceded him in death on April 9, 2004. George worked at Borden Dairies for over 30 years before retiring. After retirement, George pursued his interest in real estate. He enjoyed playing cribbage, traveling in his RV with his faithful canine companion, Buddy and spending time with his family. George is survived by his children, Jacqueline (Marcelino Maravilla) Humbert of Pewaukee, Debra Tomesh of Cottage Grove, Jeffery (Melanie) Weber of Blanchardville, Theresa (Michael) Kiesler of Madison and Cheryl (David) Shea of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Madison. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Eric (Addy) Humbert, Marc (deceased) and Andrea Humbert, Kyrc (Destiny) Humbert, Garett and Shane Tomesh, Ryan (Tashina) Weber, Kyle (Barb) Weber, Jonathon and Catherine Kiesler, and Alex and Samantha Shea; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, dear friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary; son-in-law, Robert; grandson, Marc; three sisters, Leona, Frances “Sweetie” and Catherine; and a brother, Robert. A Memorial Service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014 with Father Pat Norris presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established.
