Vivian Marlene Kerns

Kerns, Vivian M. OREGON-Vivian M. Kerns, age 72, of Oregon, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on March 25, 1942, in Madison, the daughter of Clifford and Mary (Williams) White. She married Branford “Bucky” Kerns in 1959, in Iowa. She attended Central High School in Madison. Vivian worked for Kohls, where she was a Cashier Manager. She was also an owner of Bucky’s Portable Restrooms in Oregon. Vivian loved to travel, cook and shop, but her greatest accomplishment was teaching her family to be close, having been able to get family to be together. She was the family therapist. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bucky; children, Joanne (Kelly) McCann, Richard (Kathy) Kerns, Chuck (Jackie) Kerns, Shawn Kerns and Ron Steiner; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Michael (Mary Jo) White; sisters, Tari (Robert) Rector and Phyllis White. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Branford; and a brother, Harold (Ruth) White. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL HOME, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at Noon, on Saturday, July 19, 2014, with the Rev. Charles Fiesel presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. "Vivian was the best wife, mom and grandma ever.
