Jeanne M. Hynum

Hynum, Jeanne M. MADISON - Jeanne M. Hynum, age 92, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014. She was born on Feb. 5, 1922, in Portage, the daughter of Floyd and Hattie (Warner) Chambers. Jeanne graduated from Madison East High School. She married Luther Hynum on July 19, 1941 in the Little Brown Church on the Vale in Iowa. Jeanne worked for Manchester’s Department Store for many years. She enjoyed living on the lake and was a charter member of Lake Edge United Church of Christ. Jeanne is survived by her sons, Steven (Marlene) and Jeffry Hynum; daughter-in-law, Cathy Hynum; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther; son, Leslie and a grandson, Christopher. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
