Riley, Victor K.
MADISON/ROCKY RIVER, OHIO-Victor K. Riley, born in Madison, Wis. on May 12, 1931, to Victor and Mildred Riley, passed away at his sister’s home on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Victor is survived by his sister, Nancy R. Spaeni; brother-in-law, John W. Spaeni; his nieces, Kari-Sue Beetham and Sally Jo Spaeni; nephew, Steven J. Spaeni; and many relatives and friends. He was a graduate of East High School and the University of Wisconsin. Vic was an avid sports fan and bowler who bowled a 300 game in the 1950s. He also walked six miles a day, six days a week, until his health failed. After graduating from the UW-Madison, Victor pursued a career in finance and lived a good deal of his adult life in Rocky River, Ohio, moving back to Madison in March 2014. He will be missed by all who knew him. Private family services will be held. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

I was sorry to learn of your loss. I knew from talking to John, that these past few months must have been very hard on you, Nancy. What a good sister you are!
I didn't know Victor, but from his picture he looks a little like you, John. Sounds like he was a nice guy. Not surprising--he came from Madison and returned to Madison, and had a very nice sister.
