Although I met Jerry very few times due to both age and geographical differences, I was impressed by his knowledge of many things, but especially the Anderson story. I'm so glad I got to know and talk with him several times as an adult. God Speed, Cousin - I'm sure you were welcomed home by many of our relatives.

I only was honored enough to meet Jerry a few times, but he was a wonderful man and I was always so comfortable talking to him as if I had known him forever. Mary is a wonderful friend of mine and I love her so much. I am thinking of your family at this difficult time and hope that your memories give you comfort.

We have loved Jerry since childhood like he was our brother. We lived close together and played together, and maintained that close friendship through the years. Our love extends to every member of his family, and we know that every one brought him great joy in his life. Goodbye for now, but we know we will be together again! Best friends forever--All for one and one for all!! Love and blessing. Lonnie and Roberta Simpson Brown.
