WAUNAKEE/MADISON-Frank Parish, age 97, died peacefully on Friday, July 11, 2014, at Sylvan Crossing Assisted Living. He was born in Milwaukee on March 26, 1917. Frank worked at Alliant Energy for 40+ years as an electrical engineer. He married Carole Pfeiffer on Nov. 15, 1980, and she predeceased him on Feb. 2, 2014. Frank is survived by three granddaughters, Beth (Jeff) Marshall, Lisa (Dave) Duecker, Laura (Brian) Woodland; daughter-in-law, Mary Parish; seven grandchildren; three step-daughters, Nancy Bontly, Cathy (Ken) Knudson and Mary Alt (Norb Lawinger); five step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Carole, he was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Yvonnie; two sons, Skip and Greg; a brother; and a sister. Private family services will be held. Special thank you to Sylvan Crossing staff for their patience and kindness to Frank throughout the years.
