We are so grateful for all the years we had with Toots. We enjoyed listening to all of her stories from her childhood. Riding in a one horse open sleigh on Christmas day, to her travels including Havana Cuba "For just one day" as well as all of her mystery trips. Toots had such patience and loved sitting and visiting with all the family. We will miss you so, Toots!! Love Forever---Wendy, Jay, Dalton and Payton Jones.

I don't remember much about living on Mifflin Street. My parents moved from Mifflin when I was 7 years old. One thing I do remember is that Toots would bring my parents groceries from time to time, and when she did, she would always bring food for our dog. At the time I did not understand why she did that, but when I grew up I learned that my parents went through some very tough times, one of them being my dad got laid off from his job. She was doing the "neighborly thing". What a wonderful person she was, to think that memory has stuck with me all these years. Thank you, Toots!

Our family was fortunate to meet and enjoy visiting with "Aunt Toots" at a family get-acquainted party at Wendy's family home on Labor Day weekend in 2012. It was the opportunity to meet the family of our daughter's fiancé, Mike Mathison. That day it was a joy to learn to know Toots who was youthful in style, interests, and conversation. She was a gracious person, dearly loved and treasured by the Mathison family. It didn't take long for those meeting her for the first time to learn why. She was an amazing example of living life to the fullest. We are thankful for our relationship with Lynn and Mike's family and are grateful we were given the opportunity to know "Aunt Toots."
