Tolley, Anton J. “Tony” MADISON-Anton J. “Tony” Tolley, age 79, of Madison, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014, at his home. He was born on June 26, 1935, in Madison, the son of Jonce and Iris Tolley. Tony married Hjordis Sather on July 2, 1961. He graduated from Rio High School in 1954, and served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1957. Tony is survived by his stepmother, Edna Tolley; daughter, Lisa Tolley (Marv Moody) of Stoughton; his son, Larry Tolley of Verona; step-daughter, Judy (Claude) Dahlk of Stoughton; step-sons, Guy (Suzy) Kelly of Arizona and Bob Kelly of Florida; grandchildren; brother, John (Connie) Tolley of Deerfield; sisters, Florence Kane of Wisconsin Dells, Gloria (Eugene) Brockman of Madison and Rachel (Bill) Scheer of Deerfield; and special friend, Joy Badano. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hjordis; parents; step-son, Patrick Kelly; brothers David and Andrew Tolley; sister, Carol Tolley. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., on Friday, July 25, 2014. A private burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. My first memory of uncle Tony was at a cook out at his house. That was the first time I saw some one eating a raw burger with a raw onion. I could not believe it when I saw uncle Tony eating that. To a little kid it was the grosses thing ever. I remember him as a very nice guy. So sorry Lisa and Larry for your loss. Pamela Sather Schaller
