Ann Freye

Freye, Ann Margaret MADISON – Ann Margaret Freye, age 90, of Madison passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Belmont Nursing Home. She was born on Aug. 25, 1923, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Poliska) Berger. She married Carson Freye in Madison. Ann was a lifetime member of the Eagles Club as well as a faithful member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She was a proud member of the Mad City Clowns for many years. Ann loved to bake and share her goodies with family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Randy (Kathy) Freye, Ken Freye and Steve (Sue) Freye; stepson, Richard (Jan) Freye; stepdaughter, Joyce Stroede; sister, Emily Junk; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Carson; her parents; son-in-law, Eugene Stroede; and other relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014, with Pastor Bernt Tweit presiding. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
