I represent the Dahler's and we are so saddened to learn of Virginia's death. We didn't meet her until later in our lives, when she made the trip with her daughter to meet her relatives in the River Falls and Menomonie area. We enjoyed her company very much, she will be missed by all who knew her. May God help you get through the loss of your wife and mother.

Virginia & Don used to bring her folks to see us when Connie & Donnie were just little guys. We always enjoyed the visit. It just couldn't happen often enough. So sad about her passing and more sad about the illness that came back on her. Love you all

My sympathy to the Gumz family. I knew Virginia from Lakeview Moravian Church. What a lovely lady . Wanted to help everybody she met. I believe the last time I saw her was at a church bazaar. I will be praying for Don, Connie and Donnie and their families for strength and guidance at this time . An old friend , Jan McMullen (Hanson)

It was such an honor to visit with Mrs. Gumz and to know that my maple syrup pork chops brightened her day. My love goes to the family.

My sympathy goes out to Don, Connie and Donnie. I will always remember Virginia"s laugh. It brought a smile to everyone's face {she just had that way about her}. And that twinkle in her eye was always there,. I remember as kids that she never got mad at us when I would come to visit. Such a wonderful lady. She will be greatly missed. Linda Tucker
