My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this most difficult of times. There were so many good times spent with Uncle Jerry and his family. I recall picnics at Dellwood when we would play Boucce Ball and, of course, he would always win by distracting everyone else with his jokes. I remember Sunday School at Zion Lutheran Church when he was the head of the Sunday School Program and if he asked questions and no one else would answer, he would, of course, single out family members for responses. Without a doubt the best baseball hitting instruction I ever received was from your husband, father, and grandfather - Coach Peterson! Some memories are etched in your mind forever, and I can still see him digging in at the plate and and eyeballing the pitcher and really teaching us that it wasn't about hitting a ball ... it was about ATTITUDE! It wasn't just a lecture, it was a performance. It was his time to shine as if he were doing 'Casey at the Bat', and we all loved it. My thoughts are prayers are with you all ... all the memories should be fond ones. Kevin Bavery
