Hello Grandpa"pa"!! Of all of the things I will miss, I will miss your goofy voices and silly faces the most. You were always able to make me laugh. I will miss going out on the boat and swimming in the lake, and you telling us that the fish were right underneath us and were going to nibble our toes. I love that you were a man of God. I will always remember the conversations that we had and the love that you shared with me of our Lord. I'm sorry that I made you wear a tux at my wedding even though you didn't want to. You have to admit, you looked so dapper! I know walking into your house won't be the same again. Not without you sitting in the living room in "your" chair, watching old westerns and eating wafer cookies. I will never get to say "Hello Grandpa-pa!!" and hear you say "Hello Granddaugh-ter!!" back out loud. But you are always in my heart, and I will never stop hearing you there. I love you. One of my fondest memories: when I served on Church Council - I assisted Pastor with serving communion. Dad attended church a few times with mom - and I was able to serve him communion. What a blessing and memory - to have served dad communion. You are an angel now, singing and praising God in Paradise.
