Our deepest sympathies go to Mrs. Haack, Val and Ray, Holly and the Haack family at the passing of Ann. My friendship with Ann goes back to the third grade at Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Monona. Ann and I shared many great times at IHM and we graduated on June 14, 1964. Unknown to both of us, we had bought the very same dress to wear and were surprised when we saw each other in identical dresses! We went through many small and big life events together -- First Holy Communion, Confirmation, graduations from IHM and Monona Grove H.S. in 1968. Ann was in my weddings and I was in her wedding. It was Ann who I called when I went into labaor and she was "Aunt Ann" to our son, Eric. Ann and my husband, Mike, would tease each other about their height -- Mike calling Ann "short stuff" and Ann calling Mike "high pockets". Ann was a wonderful friend. I will forever treasure the many precious memories I have of her. Rest in peace, my dear friend. Love, Deb and Mike (Debbie DiLoreto Turman)

My sincerest sympathies to Ann's family. She was a remarkable friend and my wife and I have so many wonderful memories of her. Ann and I used to challenge each other to a game of music trivia. At the end of one very fun evening, I left Ann asking her who sang "Walk on the Wildside". When it was time for me to give the answer because she couldn't think of it, turns out I couldn't think of it either. My phone rang at 1 A.M. it was Ann and all she said was Lou Reed and hung up! We laughed a lot and shared many meals together...so many great times. I will miss her grand smile and positive attitude. Rest in peace, my friend. Love, Jud Carver

I knew Ann for 40 years, first as a Unit Clerk at St. Mary's hospital, then she went back to school and became an R.N. We had so many laughs over the years and even though I moved to California 35 years ago we wrote while she could at least weekly. I miss the smile and huge belly laugh she could give. My condolences to family and friends. tom warren

I am sorry for your loss. I am one of Bill Webb and Louise Haack's daughters and remember when growing up of many holidays shared with Ann and her parents and going to play at Ann's house. Later we crossed paths again both working at St Mary's Hospital and laughed and talked of our memories growing up.
