Frieda E. Stuessy

My sincere condolences to the family of Frieda E. Stuessy - I am sorry to hear of your loss. May you find comfort in many beautiful memories of Mrs. Stuessy. We find comfort in Jesus’ words in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 where we are promised a resurrection of dear family members and friends that we have lost. I hope that you are consoled by the many wonderful Bible promises (John 17:3).

I believe Mrs. Stuessy was a good friend of my mother, Ruth Garvoille. they played volleyball for many years together for Turner Hall. She went by the nickname "Fritz" Stuessy. I remember Fritze had raven black hair when I used to watch them play volleyball as a boy at the Marquette school gym. Do I have the right person? Either way, may she rest in peace.

Freida was my babysitter when I was very young. She was good friends with my mother, Janet Gillen, and she always made a point to come to my mother's birthday celebrations. She was also at my mother's funeral and made a point to visit with me. So good to see her. She was a kind gentle person and I have many good memories of my time at your folks house on Haywood drive.
