Dennis Norman Trumpy

Trumpy, Dennis COTTAGE GROVE-Dennis “Denny” Trumpy, age 66, of Cottage Grove, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on Feb. 22, 1948, in Monroe, the son of Norman and Grace (Welton) Trumpy. Denny was united in marriage to Colette Miller on Dec. 22, 1978. He worked as a painter and mechanic. Denny was a passionate fan of the Packers, Brewers and NASCAR. Denny is survived by his wife, Colette; children, Shawn (Les) Musser of Hicksville, Ohio, Chris Eull, and Jodi (Michael) Horne; grandchildren, Gabriel, Ashton, and Gavin Eull, Robert, Jasmin and Katheryn Horne, and Krystallyn Musser; siblings, Larry Trumpy, Fred Trumpy, Judy (Otto) Mayer and Eve (Don) Schultz; brother-in-law, Harvey Fry; and many family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Eull; and siblings, Tom Trumpy, Barb Fry and Audrey Topp. A special thank you to the Agrace HospiceCare staff for their care of Denny. A memorial gathering will be held at the family home, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2014.
