Eileen Frances Dean,

Dean, Eileen (Duckert) MADISON-Eileen (Duckert) Dean, age 68, passed away suddenly at Meriter Hospital on Friday, May 2, 2014. Eileen was born May 29, 1945 in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Maxima Duckert Burke (Coffey) and Harland Duckert. Eileen graduated from Edgewood High School in 1963. She married her true love, William H. Dean on May 20, 1989. She was a devoted wife and mother; her grandchildren were a constant source of love and joy. She loved to celebrate special occasions and share her warm hospitality with family and friends. She was especially proud of her Irish heritage. Eileen is survived by her loving husband, William H. Dean; children, Sean (Lisa) Fowler, Shannon (Tim) Davis, Daniel Dean (Tiffany), Meaghan Lingis, and Dustin (Emily) Dean; her grandchildren; Shelby, Reid, Colin, Sydney, Joniahsun, Adeline, Payne, Tayah, Bronson, Sophia, and Hayden; and sister, Sheila (Tom) Weymier; brother Greg Duckert. Eileen was preceded in death by her daughter, Erin Lynn; and her parents Maxima and Harland Duckert. A Memorial Mass will take place at ST. PATRICK’S CHURCH, 434 N Main St., Cottage Grove, 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2014. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of Mass on Friday. A luncheon will follow after burial. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to the family. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Meriter Hospital, Dr. David Hei, and Dr. Kevin McAllister for their tireless care.
