Ruth Foust

MADISON-Ruth M. Foust, age 95, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014. She was born on November 15, 1918, in Flandreau, S.D., the daughter of Frank and Eva (Beck) Miller. She married Vernon A. Foust on Sept. 4, 1936. Ruth was an active member for many years of Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ. She enjoyed knitting afghans and lovingly made one for every member of her cherished family. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Roger) Levesque of Melbourne Beach, Fla. and Nancy Smith of Mazomanie; and grandchildren, Norman Smith III, Van Smith, Tracie Prince, Jeff and Scott Campbell and Shawn Scholl. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon; her daughter, Kathleen Foust; son-in-law, Norman Smith; three grandchildren, her brother, Donald Miller; and sister-in-law, Rose Foust. Funeral Services will be held at PLYMOUTH CONGREGATIONAL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 2401 Atwood Ave, Madison, at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, with the Rev. Dr. Charles Wolf presiding.
