Dear Paul, Michael and Anne, I was so sorry to hear about Patty's passing. We were good friends at St. Mary's. We reunited at our St. Mary's reunions and our OHS reunion. This past fall we stayed with Patty for a weekend in Pearl Lake and attended a St. Mary's reunion in Oshkosh. I have so many good memories of Patty and now I cherish them even more. She was a beautiful person and a mother who loved her children and grand children very much. I will have masses said for Patty at my home parish in Cedar Rapids that way I can attend. My sincerest sympathy to all of you and your families are in my prayers. 'Kathy Kittoe Scott

On behalf of the Our Lady of Good Hope Parish Choir, I wish to send out deepest condolences. Pat was a wonderful person. We have missed seeing her bright, smiling face and hearing her sing with us. We know that she is now lending her voice with the choirs of angels in heaven. Pat, may the angels lead you into paradise, may the martyrs come to welcome you and take you to the holy city, the new and eternal Jerusalem. I was so sorry to learn of your Mom's leaving this earthly world. I worked with your Mom at Alexian Village also. I will miss when I am walking around Pearl Lake checking to see if "Zfolks" is there. May you find comfort in knowing she is reunited with your Dad. I am so sorry for your loss. Pat Sass

George and I want to extend our sympathies on the passing of your Mom, Pat. We knew her and your dad for many years and shared some fun times. I know life for her was more difficult after your dad's death, but she faced that with a strong spirit and moved forward. I know she really enjoyed the lake home, and the fun of the complete redo, especially because she was able to share that experience with most of you. She handled her own declining health with the same feisty attitude she exhibited about the other indignities life handed her. She would want to be remembered as the sister, mom & grandmother who's love of family was so important to her and as a woman who lived and enjoyed her life, which ended too soon. My sympathy and my prayers at the loss of your mom. Pat was a dear friend. I was a member of the choir at Our Lady of Good Hope, Milwaukee back in the days when Marv played his guitar for our choir. Pat and I became close friends when Marv was called home. I was happy to be her companion during her grieving. We did lots together. I enjoyed my time with her at her "get-out-of-town" during the summer at her cottage. It was a terrible shock to learn of her passing. I will greatly miss our chats, but my faith assures me that she has rejoined Marv, and is enjoying Resurrection joy and peace. I also know that she will not abandon me and I can call on her for help from her new home. Sister Lucille Flores, ssm
