Obituary
EVANS, LINDA L.
LODI-Linda L. (Riedner) Evans was born at home in Token Creek on December 11, 1947 to Beatrice and Leon. She was raised in Token Creek along with her 11 siblings; so you know there was never a dull moment. She attended school at the Token Creek School House. It was through her best friend Grace that she found her soul mate in James Evans. They were united in marriage on December 16, 1978. They made their home in Lodi, WI where mom passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Mom and dad shared many years of happy marriage until dad’s passing on March 27, 2010. During their times together they shared a common bond and passion for classic car shows, bird watching and the pursuit of the next “hidden gem”. Nothing brought them more joy than sitting at the table visiting with friends and family. Mom will be greatly missed for her kindness and nurturing ways. You never left mom’s house starved for attention or with an empty stomach. She was known for her famous mouth-watering desserts.
Mom was preceded in death by her husband, James; son, Russell; daughter, Amy Jo; sisters, Karen and Crystal. She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Calvin); sons, Jerald (Amanda) and Cameron; grandchildren, Lindsey, Autumn and Dayna. She is also survived by her mother, Beatrice; siblings, Richard (Joyce) Riedner, Diane (Norman Fales), Margo Armstrong, LaVonne (Joe Silva), Jerrilee Nellen, Bruce (Steven) Riedner, Cheryl (Steve) Riedner, Rhonda Riedner and Kirk (Diana) Riedner.
The family would like to thank friends, family and Agrace Hospice for their support during mom’s brief illness.
