Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the Simon family, I will remember Jack as an avid gardener. When Irene and I would visit in summer, Jack would take me out to his garden and wade into a profusion of waist high flowers to get to his shoulder high tomatoes and return with beautiful fruit to share. He had a infinite knowledge of sports and loved to chat about the teams, players, and standings. I liked to hear him talk about his time playing pro ball with the Cincinnati Reds and the San Francisco Giants farm teams. Gene Hart
