ADAMS, HAZEL SHIRLEY (BARRETT) HALVERSON
MIDDLETON-Hazel Shirley (Barrett) Halverson Adams, age 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Meadows Assisted Living. She was born on June 17, 1927, in Hickory Grove Township, Grant County. Hazel was baptized on June 12, 1955 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Boscobel. She married Virgil Halverson. He preceded her in death. Hazel was united in marriage to Jack Adams on June 7, 1967 and they were blessed with 39 wonderful years together. She worked for Graber Blinds for 29 years. Hazel is survived by her children, Judy (Robert) Harper, Prairie du Sac, Sandra (Kelly) Ferguson, Folson, CA., Janice (Butch) Keller, Richland Center, Gerald “Toby” (Judy) Halverson, Blue River, Roger Halverson, Hancock, MI and Victoria “Vicki” Adams, Middleton; ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Rasmusson, Mildred Seim and a brother, Purl Barrett. Hazel was preceded in death by her husbands, Virgil and Jack; a daughter Carmen; her great-granddaughter, Kimberly Harper; three brothers, Dick, Paul, Clifford; six sisters, Velma, Dorothy, Esther, Lois Ann, Evelyn and Leona. Funeral services will be held at ST. LUKE’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7337 Hubbard Ave, Middleton at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 22, 2014 with the Reverend Heather Lampert presiding. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm in Muscoda Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the church.
