Melihate Rrushaj

Rrushaj, Melihate “Flora” MADISON- Melihate “Flora” Rrushaj, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Agrace HospiceCare surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on January 25, 1959, in Junik, Kosovo. Flora received her diploma in economics in Prishtina, Kosovo. She married Gani Rrushaj on Aug. 11, 1988, in Prishtina. She lived in Madison since January of 1998. Flora was a kitchen supervisor at St. Mary’s Care Center. She is survived by her husband, Gani; two sons, Arber and Albion; her father; two brothers; and four sisters. A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2014. A burial ceremony will be held in her birthplace. The family would like to thank all of her co-workers at St. Mary’s Care Center for visiting her and Agrace HospiceCare for taking care of Flora in her final moments.
