I was so saddened to hear about the loss of Mrs. Kinder! Growing up in the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, she was such an influence on my life! As a young girl I would attend bridal showers with my mother--and I always looked forward to Mrs. Kinder's gifts: kitchen items all wrapped beautifully in dish cloths! I couldn't wait for my own shower when I was a young woman--and Mrs. Kinder did not forget! She gave the best advice (and always spot on) and was honest, caring and loving. I learned so much from her over the years. She always had a hug and a smile--and words of wisdom. I am so glad I told her I loved her the last time I spoke with her!!! May her memory be eternal!!

"When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight" K Gibran
Having heard the news last night, I woke this morning quite sad. But, Baba, your life was full and fruitful, so I turned inward to my heart and found a hundred kind and wonderful memories of you. Most of them contain your manner of lifting your head upward and to the side, accompanied by your signature chuckle. Watch over us in Spirit. God's speed, with all my love, Maura
