Tonya Joy Kaech

KAECH, TONYA JOY (ENGLE) COTTAGE GROVE/MONONA-Tonya Joy Kaech (Engle), age 50, of Cottage Grove, formerly of Monona, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Agrace, after a courageous 29 month battle with breast cancer. She was born on October 25, 1963, in Madison, the daughter of Gary and Beverly Engle. Tonya married Gary Kaech on Feb. 19, 2010 at the Capitol in Madison. She graduated from Monona Grove High School in 1981. Tonya then graduated from Madison Area Technical College and spent her entire career in the dental profession. She was a devoted wife, daughter and sister and a loving mother, putting her children and their education first. Tonya enjoyed riding her bicycle in the country, scrapbooking, watching the Brewers with her husband, photography, archery, the outdoors, gardening and her dog, Kaylo. She is survived by her husband, Gary; two children, Taylor and Tianna; a step-daughter, Ashley (Jacob) Sparks; their children, Tyler, Shyne and Haven; father, Gary Engle; two brothers, Tom (Nancy) Engle and Todd Engle; and many nieces and nephews. Tonya was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly. Memorial Services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m., on Monday, March 10, 2014 with Father Randy Timmerman presiding. A luncheon will be served at ST. DENNIS PARISH following the services on Monday. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, 2014 and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
